Our Story
Rustic Mountain Dentistry was built around a simple idea: dental care should feel personal, unhurried, and close to home. Located in the Clock Tower building on Split Rock Falls Drive in Taylor, our office serves families and individuals from Taylor, Snowflake, and the surrounding White Mountains area who want quality dental care without a long drive.
We believe good dentistry starts with really listening to our patients. Whether you're bringing in a toddler for their first checkup or you need a same-day appointment for a toothache, our goal is the same: treat you like a neighbor, not a number.
Meet Dr. K. Houston Davis, DMD
Dr. K. Houston Davis, DMD leads our team with a hands-on, personalized approach to care, focused on modern techniques delivered with an old-fashioned, friendly bedside manner. He earned his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University in 2004 and his dental degree from the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health in 2008.
Life outside the office
Dr. Davis is White Mountains born and raised, and he has never really wanted to be anywhere else. When he is not at the office, odds are good you will find him outdoors, soaking up the mountain air he grew up with.
Ask him what matters most, though, and the answer is easy: family. He has been married to his wife for 27 years, and together they have raised three kids who have since made them grandparents three times over. These days, those grandkids pretty much run the show.
